The sample rubrics in this section are based on Bloom's taxonomy as well as the Paul and Elder framework for critical thinking. An expanded version as well as a more condensed version are provided. Expanded rubrics include rating scales through analysis level, and modified versions have collapsed levels of Bloom's taxonomy to allow for simplified evaluation.
These rubrics are based on standard categories of prompts for each section of the ePDP. Rubrics should be modified to address the specific nature of the guidance provided to students by each faculty member.
The holistic rubric is based on the five learning outcomes for the ePDP in first-year seminars and can be used when assessing the ePDP as a whole rather than in separate sections.
